Family Program - Surrey

Provided by Act 2 Child And Family Services

A parenting education and support program designed to help parents of young children develop a nurturing, safe, and positive environment for their children.
The Family Program promotes healthy parent-child relationship building and communication. With staff support and guidance, we can help parents learn and practice new skills to transform their family life. Since each family situation is different we encourage families to develop the strengths and resources needed to face their unique challenges.

The Family Program assists parents of children under the age of six to find the help they need to address parenting challenges. We will help parents assess their family situation as well as provide education, intervention, support and the opportunity for parents to practice their newly-developed skills. This program is available to Surrey residents at no cost through a referral from a local Ministry of Children and Family Development.
