Provides a community-based cardiac prevention, rehabilitation and maintenance program that supports people living with cardiac risk through education and supervised exercise.
This physical activity program is ideal for anyone who wants to prevent or recover from a cardiac condition. The focus of this class will be on aerobic exercises such as walking and biking and will also include exercises for strength, balance, and flexibility to improve your overall stamina.
All participants must be referred to the program by their physician. There is a monthly program fee.
Eligibility: Cardiovascular patients and those at risk of developing heart disease; aged 19 and over.
